Friendly staff at all of the counters, if not the fastest service. Max, Susan, and William are always professional and very helpful.
So why dock two stars? Well if you were already irked by the long lines, you'll be pleased to hear they just got longer. **The self-checkouts have been removed!!** and replaced with two regular registers. This wouldn't be an issue with proper staffing, except they cut four functioning registers and at most have four human registers open at any time. The wait time just quadrupled, even during off hours now it's a while as they also have a stamp promo running.
What a wonderful change just before the holidays. Thankfully other stores in the area have grocery pickup, so I only go to this safeway now if it's an urgent or last-minute sundry item.August 06, 2016
